This Ferroli NTC sensor with a built-in clip is suitable for use in Arena, Maxima,
Optimax, Optimax HE Plus, Tech, and Optimax HE boilers.
The sensor is employed to increase circuit resistance in line with temperature drops.
A boiler’s printed control board (PCB) sends a current to the thermistor,
deciding whether a decrease or increase in heat is required by reading the relative resistance.
