Product Description
The Vokera Mynute expansion vessel is a device to handle the expansion of water in a heating system or hot water system due to increases in temperature. When water increases in temperature it expands, in particular when it is stored under pressure such as in a sealed heating system or an unvented hot water cylinder. Expansion vessels typically contain a cylinder or disc which is divided inside into two compartments separated by a rubber sheet, known as the diaphragm. Inside the expansion vessels, there
is water on one side of the diaphragm and air or an inert gas such as nitrogen under pressure on the other side.
An air valve very much like those found on a bicycle and car tyres is typically provided within the airside to permit the system
to be re-pressurized
